Prof. Sujatha Srinivasan was awarded the Women Scientist of the Year (2022) by the Technology Development Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India 


Sports 4 All, an inclusive sports event for persons with disability, was conducted on December 11, 2022, by our centre along with ICMR - National Centre for Assistive Health Technology.

Over 150 persons with disability, 100 caregivers, and 100 volunteers participated.

KADAM, India's first indigenously developed polycentric prosthetic knee joint, was launched on April 8, 2022. KADAM is the fourth product to be designed and developed at our center, and now ready for mass manufacturing. News coverage of Kadam and product video.

October 12, 2021: Our Alumnus Guhan Narayanan (B.Tech 2021) has been awarded the Sivasailam Merit Prize for the best individual BTech project in Mechanical Engineering, the Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Prize for the best outgoing undergraduate student, and the Institute Blues Bronze medal. Congrats Guhan!
